HHO Generator Kits for Sale Anyone?
Welcome Back Message for HHO Enthusiast

Somebody asked… HHO Generator Kits For Sale Anyone? Hi, my name is Richard Trent from Gas Savings Formula from ATS. If any of you remember, I was the licensed certified mechanic who posted lots of HHO articles back in 2008 and 2009. I did it to find the answers to all HHO mysteries in the Internet. I also did it for myself because I wanted to prove if I can see if any HHO products really work.
This month of November 2011, I got good news for you! I am back! I was busy in the last 2 years trying to work as a technician which is a higher grade than a certified mechanic. You see, anybody can be called a mechanic. Not in our country of Canada. To get this “technician” certificate, you are required to have at least 1-2 trade licenses plus a lot of proven experience. On top of that, you have to be endorsed by a company who does government vehicles certifications.
In my case, I was really lucky to be endorsed by one of the largest bus coach companies in Canada and USA. As a matter of fact, our bus company company’s head office is in Texas. (I can’t tell which city because you will probably guess the name of this company and we are not allowed to mentioned them).
I hope I am mot indulging with myself too much but what do I mean when asking the question: HHO Generator Kits For Sale Anyone? The reason is… with my technician certification I could probably discussed HHO with a little bit of authority. Besides, you will know it is not BS but I always do a serious research on HHO matters before posting it in this blog.
This way, you can weed out the hundreds of HHO scammers that are trying to oversell HHO. This oversell is what I think is giving HHO such a bad name. Question such as HHO Generator Kits for Sale Anyone is something I devised to get your curiosity and you will keep reading recent new developments about HHO in the days ahead.
HHO Generator Kits for Sale Components:
When I researched HHO 2-3 years ago, I have introduced the importance of using these components when buying a good HHO Generator Kits For Sale:
1.) The hho generator set up for 2009 which has a dry type hho gas cell. This eliminates the use of circulating pump which was needed in the old system. A new collection of hydrogen gas is done by gravity feed on this HHO dry cell which is easy to install at cheaper price.
2.) A pulse width modulator or PWM is another HHO part connected to the electrolyte power supply and hho cell circuit. It helps control the amount of hho gas produced at lower rate. Over-all effect is less heat production in HHO production process which also helps your engine alternator run cooler.
3.) Relay fuse combo so you can switch off the hho generator when you stopped running your vehicle. This prevents draining your battery causing unexpected NO STARTS.
4.) Cylindrical vaporizer device to work as a blow back arrestor to avoid engine intake flashback from the throttle body which can ruin your bubbler housing, dry cell hho hoses for safety.
5.) Cooling fan that cools the PWM housing when current reading starts to going up.
6.) MAF or Mass sensor controller for your ecm (engine computer).
7.) EFIE controller which is adjustable which varies oxygen signals to the ecm
8.) Scan gage to monitor your HHO circuit like mpg, OBD codes, etc.
2011 HHO generator kits for sale UPGRADE
1.) There are some improvements on this HHO generator kits in 2011 and I hope to discuss it with you in my next blog or blogs in the coming weeks. I hope that this HHO blog today will encourage you to come back for more HHO Generator Kits for Sale articles.
2.) Shown on the picture above is the old version of HHO generator, in 2011 this system was improved by the introduction of HHO dry cell using plates and more control gadgets such as a tandem ecu to work with the vehicle’s computer.
3.) I will provide more details in the following days or weeks to come when I got time.
Thanks!
Richard from Calgary, Alberta, Canada

HHO Computer
This HHO computer is a follow up from my last 2 posts. As I have mentioned already, hho cell gas production can be controlled using a computer which is attached with your engine computer. I have a feeling that most hho enthusiasts will be thrilled by this new development. However, let me caution everybody that as a mechanic, I have not seen it worked yet because I am still waiting for the results of the latest installation pioneered by 2 hho technological companies. Once I have seen their data that they have ironed out the minor bugs, I will announce it here in my blog.
We need this HHO computer to automatically monitor the hho gas production when it is introduced in the engine combustion chamber. Based on what I have seen so far on the latest installation, it looks promising especially when the oxyhydrogen gases can be controlled at different engine rpm. I was hoping that in the final analysis, this HHO computer will prevent damage in your engine.
NOTES:
I came across some hho videos last week accusing hho vendors as scammers which I found counter productive. Any potential buyers of HHO should look at the fact: although there are lots of talks about HHO scams, there is no harm in reading about this HHO experiment. All you have to do is get as much information as you can before investing on such product and make sure you have a licensed mechanic to help you install it. You should not put it in your engine if the vendor will not guaranty it and your mechanic has to agree that it will work. Most problem here is coming from folks who are to eager to install it without really studying the over-all effect of HHO system. And when you consider also the hype being used to sell this product, it is no wonder that the suspicion of scam is always coming out.
If you notice also, this HHO computer is another tool that worth waiting for to realize the full potential of having a workable HHO system. But unless I see the actual proven results in saving gas and emission, this blog will not be used to propagate a HHO system that does not work.
Thanks,
Richard

HHO Control
This is part 2 HHO control blog for those gas saving driver enthusiasts.
When automatic HHO control was introduced early last year by Hydroxy Technologies Corporation (HTC), it caught everybody by surprise including myself. Up to that time a year ago, almost everybody was using a remote scan gauge and manually adjusting the sensor enhancer settings using their sensor enhancer adjusting knobs. This means, if you happened to forget to set your PMW properly and it happens that your HHO cell is overheating then you can say goodbye to your HHO cell. The same case can occur if the oxygen sensor is allowed to run in an open loop because the HHO EFIE setting is not set up accurately. This is true if the fuel mixture is lean and there is a big chance that you might damage your engine.
The main advantage of this automatic HHO control is the ability of the HHO cell to produce the right amount of oxyhydrogen gases for your engine. This is done by automatically adjusting all the sensor parameters at HHO cell start ups and set according to the vehicle driving conditions. Example: if the engine is idling, the HHO cell production is not needed and the PWM is set to limit hho gas entry to the combustion chamber. On the other hand, if the engine is revving high and running under load, the HHO cell gas production must be set high by the PWM device at a higher rate.
How does automatic HHO control works?
Instead of using a scan gage to monitor engine performance, a remote engine controller is mounted in your dash for you to monitor. Using transistors and electronic circuit board, all the sensor enhancer devices are hooked up into this controller including the engine rpm, hho unit temperature and OBD2 engine configuration of the ecm thru a wiring harness plugin. Using this system, one can set the HHO enhancer parameter reading/s at one sitting and there is no need to do any adjustment anymore unless the controller gives a signal for you to do otherwise. This means, a trouble free operation that will not damaged your engine including less HHO cell maintenance.
Note:
Sine the HHO cell hho gas production is controlled, less contaminants are produced inside the hho cell unit.
This HHO control device is called Vehicle Management Unit or VMU by HTC and shown below is a UTube video on how it works:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvIUNE87PCI&feature=channel_page
Feel free to ask ATS for wiring diagram for your engine if it is applicable to use this HHO control system for your vehicle.
Thanks!

HHO Control To Save Gas
This HHO Control blog is dedicated for those adventurous HHO gas pioneers, HHO diys who advocate saving engine fuel using HHO concept and help cut vehicle emission.
The HHO control came about as soon as HHO cell started producing oxyhydrogen gas on demand to interract with the vehicle’s engine control module (ECM) or your engine computer. If you recall last year, when the HHO cell introduced these gases into your combustion chamber; the engine computer will react to the leaning effect of the hho gas to your engine fuel mixture. At the same time, it has to contend also to the higher temperature levels brought about by the oxygenhydrogen gases to both the HHO cell unit and your engine combustion chamber.
Without HHO control, higher HHO cell temperature results in early deterioration of the HHO cell plate wiring terminals and discoloration of the HHO cell fluids. This was corrected by using the PMW device to control the cell amperage and converting it to “dry type cell” system which allowed more metal plates without raising the cell housing temperature. A user friendly hho cell additive like soda was added to the” wet type” HHO cell fluid to improve HHO cell production and improve maintenance since it minimizes the cleaning time to flush dirty contaminants inside the HHO cell. These strategies have allowed a much lower operating temperature for the HHO cell and at the same time, allowed a higher HHO cell flow rate production.
The same technique was also used to control the HHO gases in the combustion chamber by using the following engine sensor enhancement devices which you probably know are already being used extensively:
EFIE enhancer which controls the oxygen gas content of the combustion gas to prevent the engine ecm from going open loop when the fuel mixture becomes lean as a result of hho gas injection.
Map/Maf sensor enhancer which control the sensor frequency output and map sensor load voltage at a level tolerable to the ecm management specs again to prevent the fuel mixture control system into going open loop.
Finally, a scan gauge is used to monitor the engine performance when oxy hydrogen gases are introduced. However, HHO control is done by adjusting the PWM, EFIE and MAP/MAF settings using the adjuster knobs that came with these enhancement devices.
As you will see in my next blog, there is no automatic HHO control in this above method. A better electronic controller is needed so that the HHO cell gas production is optimized based on the existing condition of the vehicle engine.
Thanks,
Richard

L2 Hybrids Conversion Generating HHO in Demand
Using the L2 hybrids conversion is the latest technique for generating hho in demand for your vehicle to save gas.
It has been a while since I wrote about installing hho generator in vehicles to save fuel. The landscape for installing hho generator has been improved again in early 2009 when L2 HYBRIDS company from California sold 2 hho kits to a public works department in Beloit City, Wisconsin. This happened after the department installed a wet cell hydrogen units from Oklahoma-based Protium Fuel Systems on three department vehicles which did not work properly.
With the newer dry cell system, a plastic reservoir is filled with distilled water. The water circulates through the booster, where an electric current breaks it into hydrogen and oxygen gas. The hydrogen gas then is injected into the engine to help gasoline burn more efficiently. Initial results were promising although some bugs still need sorting out.
Since gasoline engines are only about 20 percent efficient, it means the engine is burning only 1/5 of the gasoline injected into the vehicle and the rest leaves as carbon exhaust through the tailpipe. The introduction of hydrogen gas makes engines burn 100 percent efficient. Hydrogen is a volatile gas, and when it’s added to the combustion cycle, it induces everything to burn. That means more savings per gallon and fewer carbon emissions.
The L2 hybrid conversion is a dry cell generator which more metal plates to be used to generate hho gas without causing heat. Furthermore, since it is dry type, less corrosion build up is gained inside the hho generator housing itself.
Shown below is the video showing the Beloit public works department pioneering the hho fuel saving campaign:
http://www.youtube.com/user/leolebel#play/uploads/0/wE-r3-TBnL8
If the L2 Hybrids company kit works, it would save the public work department thousands of dollars in fuel cost which totals almost 3 quarter million dollars a year. This is a welcome news to hho installer enthusiast who can really improve their success odds instead of buying those expensive hybrid vehicles. I will examine this newest hho on demand generator some more and hope to give you more updates later on.
Thanks,
Richard

Gas Saving Tips Video So You Can Save Gas
This gas saving tips video is what I saw the other night in Utube which showed a basic hho generator setup. It only has a scan gage to monitor the mileage mpg gain and has no efie or map/mass sensor adjusters. Although this is a wet type hho generator system, I was surprised about his claim of getting almost 50% mileage increase.
His set up consisted of the following:
One high production hho cell which produce under 60 liters per hour (this is wet type and the hho plates are immersed in electrolyte fluids).
An intake flash arrestor plastic container to separate hho from moisture (notice the lower return hose at the bottom shown in the picture on top)
An electrical circuit relay and emergency cut off switch in case the hho components are damaged unexpectedly.
Looking at the video, he might have used a pwm device to control his hho output but it is really hard to see.
This gas saving tips video was recorded in Utube on Jan.02.2009 but the actual video shows it was done sometime in early fall last year. This set up looks promising considering it was installed on a big Ford (Expedition) SUV gas guzzler with a V8 4.6L engine. Please CLICK HERE to see the video and watch for yourself.
Based on this gas saving tips video, there is much room for improvement because of his using the scan gage. He can always increase the hho gas by monitoring the gage until it goes to open loop. He can also cheat the engine computer readings by adding the efei or the mass sensor adjusters. He just have to do it one adjuster at a time until he can balance the hho production and the correct hho temperature.
As always, it is a wise practice to check the spark plugs to check the actual condition of the engine in case the combustion temperature goes overboard (and this can be monitored also by the scan gage while he is driving the vehicle).
Another hho pioneering guy here showing us his video on how to save on gas and I hope he is successful. Feel free to leave your comments below if you have any hho generator building question.
Thanks,
Richard

These HHO Generators 2009 Tips!
Rejoice my friends! These tips for hho generators are really working is the best news in 2009. HHO generators really work to save you gas but you have to know exactly what specific hho generator kit to use. Shown here is the result of my research and here are some startling evidence.
The engine is small 4 cylinder and late 2007 model. These hho generators were installed in a garage that sells and service automotive and diesel engines for the last 30-40 years in USA. This is not a novice or some do it your selfer who does not have a clue how engine computer works! These people are professionals and uses dynamometers and engine scopes so they do these engine jobs everyday.
I found these hho generators have unique saver device which found after December 2008. After reading their materials and downloading the instructions that came from certified mechanics, I can tell you I am sold! I got a new lease of life on this hho generators applications of fuel supplements!
These hho generators work because their set up is simple. When these hho generators are tested, gas MPG gains are assured between 15% to 50% increase depending on how it is set up. No one generator kit that fits all concept. It depends on how your engine computer is set up but this is what I have learned so far:
These HHO generators actual output production is not important. Last year, most of the known “hho experts” said that the bigger the better. But the as per these guys, all you need for engines smaller than V8 or 5.7 liters is 1 liter per minute (lpm) of hho gas production. That’s it! All you need really is to have a balance to counter what the engine computer is doing against the HHO gas generation. Once you have the right hho production and the right balance, you got it made!
But how do I prove that it won’t wreck the engine because of the engine heat produced by hho gas? “Simple” according to these guys…if you got the right hho gas production and correct accessories for the engine computer, hho gas cools down the engine and steam cleaned the inside of your engine combustion parts. It eliminates the destructive carbon residues that actually kills your engine everyday. Take a close look at the picture shown here and after readings lots of people like vehicle owners, big diesel truck fleet managers who swear that this hho generator really works, I cannot say anything but look closer.
On my next blog, I will explain to you more on these hho generators new developments that very few people know. Their website is conspicuously not very popular in the Internet unless you really research and understand what they are talking about.
Thanks!
Richard

Another HHO Tips for Fuel Gas Savers!
These hho tips refer to the Utube video I saw the other day showing a hho gas generator installed on a truck or minivan. It showed the hho generator showing 3 hydrogen cells connected together. The question is why?
Some vehicle engines especially those with sizes ranging from 5.0L to 6.0L would need a bigger output of hho gas. With a typical stand alone generator, the number of plates used for electrolysis is pretty limited. So when it is operating, problems like generator overheating and insufficient hho gas flow can occur. To resolve this, here is are a few hho tips being done by some vendors:
Adding a hho gas cooler to the system
Using a condenser coil in front of your radiator where the hho gas is made to circulate the hho cell can lower the hho gas generator temperature. And from what I have seen from a hho vendor, he added a circulating pump to increase the flow rate. This helps resolve both issues of overheating and insufficient hho gas production.
With this feature, it can avoid installation multiple hho cell installation which requires a bigger space in your engine compartment. With this hho tip, there is a downside: the added cost of the condenser coil and circulating pump can easily jack up your over-all hho investment roughly by 30%-40%. However, if you look at a more stable hho production without worrying about overheating, this might be a good route to go.
Another hho tips success story:
Shown in this utube video is hho gas generator using 3 hydrogen cells. As per the person who made the video, he gained 34% mpg gas savings. Please treat this caution because it does not show exactly what electronic extensions were used like PWM, EFIE or MAP enhancer. Should you need any assistance on this, please contact ATS or leave a message in my comment below.
Please check with your local city by-laws before performing any hho conversion in your vehicle. Please check ATS recommended strategies in our previous blogs.

Mass Sensor Testing…An important HHO Conversion Step?
To do a mass sensor testing for your hho engine, you have to know how mass sensor works and recognize it’s different forms. Mass sensor is use to monitor air volume going to your intake combustion process. When it was first introduced, this sensor came with a vane or movable door which is connected to a mechanical linkage. So when a volume of air pass thru the vane or door, a wiring connected to the linkage would determine how much air has passed thru the opening. This passage was measured in voltage which is fed to the engine computer.
This type of mass sensor is called vane type and it only measures the air volume. To do an accurate mass sensor testing, it has to include the air temperature and pressure of the incoming air. When added, it helps improved better engine performance. A second type of mass sensor has both temperature and pressure included and it is called a “hot wire” mass sensor. It is characterized by having a wire elements which comes in contact with the passing intake air.
In this 2nd type of mass sensor, the wire itself is monitored for changes in wire resistance while being exposed to passing air. More air passing means cooler wire resistance and vice versa. This change is measured by the engine computer which inturn could calculate the rate of fuel flow for the fuel injectors. Please note that on the first vane type mass sensor, the movement of the linkage is measured by voltage. And in some hot wire mass sensor, voltage measurements are also applied on certain engine models.
When mass sensor testing is done on these types of mass sensor, all you have to do is measure the voltage on each one of the wires going to the mass sensor while the engine is running. When done during idle, one of the wires being measured will have the value of the voltage change whenever the rpm is disturbed. So when you increase the rpm, the voltage reading should change which is reflected in the digital voltmeter measurements.
Problems comes when you have a “frequency” type mass sensor. On this sensor, the wire element itself has an oscillating frequency readings whenever the rpm is varied. Most of this “frequency” type mass sensor will have 5 or more wirings but instead of measuring the voltage, you need to measure the frequency which can be done by setting your voltmeter in the frequency range. Doing the mass sensor testing is almost the same as the voltage type wire mass sensor. To find the right wire, make sure you have the right mass sensor wiring diagram.
Caution:
Before buying a hho mass sensor adapter for your hho engine, make sure you ask the hho vendor if the mass sensor they are selling will work on voltage or frequency mass sensor settings. Otherwise, the mass sensor adapter will not work on your hho engine.
