HHO Tools That You Need!
Always use the right HHO tools when installing a HHO gas generator. Begin with basic kit that includes the PWM or pulse width modulator discussed on my earlier blog. If the fuel mixture becomes too lean so that the computer is forced to make the engine go into open loop, there is a 2nd option that you can use. Depending on the make of your car or truck, the best HHO tools are those using a MAP sensor adjuster. Just like the EFIE adapter, this device works by modifying the voltage signal of either MAP or MASS sensor of your engine.
When using the MAP sensor, the voltage signal comes from the vacuum flow of the engine. In this set up, there are 3 wires connected to the MAP sensor: a ground wire, a 5v reference supply wire and your signal wire which reads between 0.1v to 5.0 volt. The MAP sensor adjuster wire is connected to the signal of the 3 wire terminal of the MAP sensor. When HHO gas generator is used in your engine, the hydrogen gas created can make your fuel mixture lean. Using these hho tools like the MAP sensor adjuster, the fuel mixture is then modified to make the computer think that the engine is running rich instead. This prevents the engine computer into dumping less fuel to your engine.
MASS sensor on the other hand, works on the principle of measuring the air flow volume going to the engine air intake. unlike the MAP sensor having 3 wires, most MASS sensor has 5-6 wires and you need to connect the MASS sensor signal wire to the MASS adjuster device. On these hho tools, an instruction will usually come from the vendor on how to find the MASS sensor signal wire or you can contact ATS for the wiring diagram. Again when applied, the MASS sensor adjuster will adjust the fuel mixture to counter-act the leaning effect of the HHO gas generator.
Shown below is a Utube video on how MAP sensor adjuster will work when connected to the HHO gas generator.
Before using these hho tools, first find out whether your engine has a MAP or MASS sensor including the location and wiring diagrams. Sometimes, this device can be installed as a stand alone device for your HHO gas generator or it could be used in tandem with the EFIE enhancer. Again there is no fix rule on what HHO gas generator electronic computer enhancer to use but start with one gadget first until you get the best gas saving result. If possible, get hold of a mechanic to assist you in planning the best HHO gas generator set up for your vehicle. ATS provides this assistance online.
